Peripheral Vascular Intervention Course 

Course Description: A high volume PV angiography and intervention course featuring didactic and proctored hands on cases. Satisfactory completion results in a certificate of cases to be applied toward the 100 diagnostic angiograms and 50 peripheral intervention case requirements of the ACC/ACP/SCAI/SVMB/SVS. Students will receive training on lower extremity, renal, and subclavian angiography and intervention. Students will receive protocols, equipment lists, and physician dictation of cases included during course.

Course Length: Two day course

Enrollment: 3 student maximum per course

Target Audience: Cardiologists, radiologists, and vascular surgeons desiring to acquire peripheral vascular diagnostic and intervention skills.

Peripheral Vascular Intervention Mini-Fellowship 

Course Description: A high volume PV angiography and intervention fellowship featuring didactic and proctored hands on cases. Satisfactory completion results in a certificate of cases to be applied toward the 100 diagnostic angiograms and 50 peripheral intervention case requirements of the ACC/ACP/SCAI/SVMB/SVS. Students will receive training on lower extremity, renal, and subclavian angiography and intervention. Students will receive protocols, equipment lists, and physician dictation of cases included during fellowship.

Course Length: 6 days (broken into 2 visits of 3 days each)

Enrollment: 2 student maximum per course

Target Audience: Cardiologists, radiologists, and vascular surgeons desiring to acquire peripheral vascular diagnostic and intervention skills and case volumes required to satisfy requirements of the ACC.

Carotid Artery Intervention Course 

Course Description: A high volume carotid artery angiography and intervention course featuring didactic and proctored hands on cases. Satisfactory completion results in a certificate of cases to be applied toward the 30 diagnostic angiograms and 25 carotid intervention case requirements of the ACC/SCAI/SVMB/SVS. Students will receive training on approximately 10 carotid artery angiography and intervention cases. Students will receive protocols, equipment lists, and physician dictation of cases included during course.

Course Length: Two day course

Comprehensive Peripheral Vascular Mini-Fellowship

Course Description: A comprehensive PV mini-fellowship program designed for interventional practitioners and entire support team. Physician students will experience 2 days of didactic content and proctored lower extremity, renal, and subclavian angiography and intervention cases followed by 2 days of carotid artery angiography and intervention cases. Physician students will also experience 2 days of PV CTA diagnostic imaging education to achieve PV CTA certification. Satisfactory completion results in a certificate to be applied toward case requirements of the ACC/ACP/SCAI/SVMB/SVS. A two day simultaneous course for the non-physician practitioner will provide components of a successful PV program including patient screening, diagnostic evaluation, intervention, follow-up care, and marketing to referring physicians. A one day simultaneous course for the billing and coding specialist provides current billing and coding techniques related to PVD.

Course Length: Five day mini-fellowship

Enrollment: 1 team per course (2 physicians, 1 NP or PA, 1 billing/coding specialist)
